Breathe out poetry Tuesdays

I wanted something bright this morning – we’re having the weirdest weather in Vancouver this week. Today (and it’s only 10:30) we’ve already had sun and snow and I expect we’ll soon have rain to add to it.

Peppers
red
yellow
green orange
translucent in the sunlight

Mandarin and navel
honey tangerines
small ones, large ones
seedless, too
solid in my hands

And grapes
green and red and purple
dewy and draped
like silk
over themselves

A painting waiting to be born.

That’s beautiful….I like the image the words bring to mind. Great job!
